When Looking at Properties, Know that Shidler Development Property Management

  • Does NOT Accept Cash for Rental Properties/ Rental Deposits
  • Does NOT Require you to “Go to our bank and deposit money/cash”
  • Does NOT Perform Western Union / MoneyGram Transactions
  • Does NOT Perform transactions through Private Bank Accounts
    (ie: Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo).
  • Does NOT Utilize “@gmail.com / @yahoo.com / @hotmail.com” for primary business purposes.
  • Does NOT Perform Business Transactions “in [the] parking lot of [the] office”

If it does not have a paper trail that can be directly linked and recalled, do not perform the action or surrender money. Several people have been tricked as the rental market has become more competitive preying upon the fierceness of competition between potential renters.
Do not fall Prey to a Con-Artist:

Only use Money Orders / Cashier’s Cheques / Checks
They can be recalled, and your bank/institution that sold you the money order/cashier’s cheque can track the money to where it was actually deposited and in many cases provide some assistance to you

To View Inside Properties for Lease

Get a new lease on life: Take a look at the rental list and then start taking a look inside!

1. First drive by the property of interest to view the exterior and surrounding area.
2. After viewing exterior: The use our “OPEN HOUSE KEY PROGRAM” and arrange to check out a key for many of our properties at our main office after 9 a.m. Monday-Friday and must return it within 90 min or prior to 3:30 p.m. whichever sooner and Saturday by
appointments only (excepting holidays). A $40 Cash Deposit and Valid ID will be required to use our key program.

Some Properties have Electronic Keyboxes, Of which you may put a credit card deposit and view at your own time, usually these are properties that are outside of the normal 30 minute drivable area from our office.
